Joe Biden may appeal to the citizens that he is pro-labor, but the American workers and leaders couldn’t be fooled.

During a February 7 interview, one of the country’s top union leaders expressed his displeasure with Biden’s decision to cancel the Keystone XL project.

Axios reporter Jonathan Swan asked AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka to explain why Biden is right in cancelling the pipeline project.

Instead of saying that Biden was right, Trumka voiced out his disagreement. “I wish he hadn’t done that on the first day because the Laborers’ International was right.”

The pipeline project is set to open 10,000 construction job opportunities for many American laborers. However, Biden’s decision took away jobs from these workers.

Trumka was careful with his words, trying to avoid openly criticizing a Democrat president. However, he could no longer hold back as the truth spilled out from his mouth.

Trumka mentioned that Biden’s decision will cost jobs. It just shows how reckless the current president is, compromising not only the jobs but also the lives of the workers’ families who will suffer.

The unions are openly supportive of Democrats, but the leader of a union with 12.5 million members could no longer hide his displeasure with Biden’s rash decision.

Are liberal policies more important than the lives of American laborers?
