On December 11, it was reported that Fox News had 2.2 million viewers while CNN is at four million while MNSBC is under three million.
.@CNN continues to rank #1 in cable news. Beats @FoxNews during GA Senate debate; @jaketapper exclusive intervu was #1 in all of cable (not just news) and since the election @CNN continues to outperform @FoxNews & @MSNBC in both Total Viewers & Demo 25-54. https://t.co/n7dhGyF3PK pic.twitter.com/pwIMAUGayn— CNN Communications (@CNNPR) December 7, 2020
What caused the numbers to dwindle?
Raheem Kassam of the National Pulse reported that the figures “have plummeted to never before seen levels below CNN and MSNBC”. This is after the network showed favor for Joe Biden as the presidential elections are still ongoing.
Shortly after the elections, Arnon Mishkin of Fox news confidently stated, “We’re confident that the data will basically look like the data we’ve noticed throughout the count in Arizona.”
The Democrat media personality suggested that President Trump has slim chances of winning the elections, and compared the victory to the likelihood of frogs having wings.
This early announcement even without the final results could’ve influenced the decisions of voters across other states who haven’t cast their votes.
This can be a minor lapse, but Fox viewers knew better. Fox has been showing bias against the conservatives since media mogul Rupert Murdoch passed the network reigns to his two sons.
It can be remembered that in July 2020, one of his sons, James Murdoch stepped down from the News Corp board. The reason for his resignation is stated in his letter which goes, “My resignation is due to disagreements over certain editorial content published by the company’s news outlets and certain other strategic decisions.”
Fox Corporation is now in full control by its CEO, Lachlan Murdoch. The shift to the Left grew stronger since then.
Online magazine American Thinker’s Andrea Widburg described the shift in the network as “creeping NeverTrumpism”. She described how Chris Wallace of Fox news showed subjectivity and bias during the presidential debate as he “turned the first presidential debate into a three-way affair, with Wallace siding with Biden.”
As White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany is giving an update on the election fraud investigation, Neil Cavuto of Fox News cut off the live stream and remarked, “She’s charging the other side with welcoming fraud and welcoming illegal voting.”
He further stated, “That’s an explosive charge to make, that the other side is effectively rigging and cheating. If she does bring proof of that, of course, we’ll take you back.”
Fox news recently released a pool that shows US citizens aren’t satisfied with President Trump’s performance as leader of the nation.

How valid are the numbers?
This isn’t the first time that Fox News got involved in a series of controversies. People on social media platforms have been expressing their disgust over the absence of impartiality from the network.
